Conrad Swailes meets Jon Bernstein

Conrad Swailes meets Jon Bernstein

I have to admit first of all that I was due to go to a dinner last night, arranged by Netimperative with Jon Bernstein of Channel 4, at the last minute, I was called onto a conference call with the States which I decided was more important – I had to it.

I called up Netimperative and apologised to Charlie for my no show and in any case Conrad Swailes and John Guria (Weboptimiser shareholder/directors) were planning to go, so I explained that if I was going I was hoping to get a photo of Jon Bernstein and I. I was going to write a story on the evening with a view to publishing here on Socialmediatoptips.com I did not know what the story would be about, but I was sure I would be able to derive something interesting from the evening. No doubt Jon Bernstein was wanting to speak for a reason, he had a story to get over.

Conrad decided it would be a great idea to twitter events as they occurred, so here is his stream of twitters from last night.

I think there are a few top tips here!

Conrad explained this morning that the one word that he did not have time to tweet was the word engaging. I think reading through these tweets that he was certainly engaging. There are two additional top tips here, one from me – watch your photographic compositions and the other from Jon Bernstein – keep your twittering short and tweet to be engaging.

I make that 18 top tips in one article… Thanks guys! Now, take some exercise…
